Optical Sound has been working since 1997 on interdisciplinary mixing and produces without distinction projects of musicians, graphic designers, artists and others: discs, DVDs, badges, serigraphs, limited editions, interfaces, exhibitions, etc. As well as a specialized journal.  Without dogma or chapel there appears the cartography of a territory animated by a tight network of contributors who work in co-optation through their productions, meetings, sharing knowledge and passion.  The name Optical Sound is also that of the soundtrack of the 35mm film rolls. This recalls the mental images sometimes generated by listening to sound.Here reigns the « artistic direction » in the noble sense of the term. Pierre Beloüin is the guardian of the recording studio or the concert hall, the Black Cube or the conference.  Graphic designers, visual artists, writers, journalists, musicians take part in a dynamics of production, of a trademark that crosses the vagaries of underground cultural production in a country that is not very receptive to decompartmentalization and gender transfers.
