That Summer, Nine Shrunken Pieces (OS.019) M-CD
Ce disque est la transcription de l’exposition 9 Pièces Réduites
de Saâdane Afi f, qui s’est tenue à la Fondation Prince Pierre, en juillet
2006, à Monaco. Dans un premier temps, l’artiste a commandé des
paroles de chansons à David Sanson, en relation avec chacune des
œuvres présentées, avec pour contrainte de conserver les titres originaux,
et de proposer une interprétation personnelle des pièces. Ces
textes ont ensuite été confiés à That Summer pour en faire les 9 morceaux
que voici..
This record is the transcription of “9 Pièces Réduites”, an exhibition
by Saâdane Afi f that was held at the Prince Pierre Foundation
(Monaco), in July 2006. First, the artist commissioned lyrics to David
Sanson, in connection with every exhibited works of art, while keeping
the original titles and providing personal interpretations of each work.
These texts have then been passed on to That Summer who created
the following nine music pieces.
